Protecting quantum entanglement from amplitude damping

Quantum entanglement is a critical resource for quantum information and quantum computation. However, entanglement of a quantum system is subjected to change due to the interaction with the environment. One typical result of the interaction is the amplitude damping that usually results in the reduction of the entanglement. Here we propose a protocol to protect quantum entanglement from the amplitude damping by applying Hadamard and CNOT gates. As opposed to some recently studied methods, the scheme presented here does not require weak measurement in the reversal process, leading to a faster recovery of entanglement. We propose a possible experimental implementation based on linear optical system

A Conceptual Teacher-Learner Model for a Collaborative Learning with Serious Games

This paper introduces a conceptual Teacher-Learner framework for a collaborative learning with serious games. An initial study identified twelve attributesof educational serious games that can be used to support effective learning. These attributes are used in the conceptual framework to support learning and pedagogy in combination with a game. A considerable number of serious games have been developed over the last ten years, with varying degrees of success. Due to a lack of clear standards and guidelines for game developers; it is difficult to justify claims that a specific game meets the learner’s requirements and/or expectations. This paper defines a conceptual model for serious games that will contribute to their design and the measurement of achievement in meeting the learners’ requirements

: This writing based on the research conducted on 2012 at the students of state university of Alauddin Makassar. This study aims at finding the urgency of teaching strategy developed by lecturer toward students\u27 academic character after having lecture. Data got through questionnaire constructed to measure the effect of teaching strategy toward the increasing of students\u27 scientific attitude. Data were analyzed and referenced to explain strategy which is needed to optimalize the building those academic characters. Therefore, this study is categorized into mix method, qualitative and quantitative method. The result of this study shows that the design of teaching strategies are still low, therefore they do not affect significantly to build students\u27 academic attitude
